Prostate, Kidney & Bladder Cancer Care

Early Detection & Modern Treatment

Warning signs

  • Prostate: urinary slowing, frequent nights, raised PSA (often silent early)
  • Kidney: flank mass/pain or blood in urine; many tumors are found incidentally
  • Testis: painless lump/swelling in one testicle
  • Penis: non-healing ulcer/growth, discharge, groin node swelling

Evaluation

PSA/MRI and biopsy for prostate; ultrasound/CT for kidney & bladder; cystoscopy and TURBT for bladder tumors; tumor markers & ultrasound for testis; biopsy and node mapping for penile lesions.

Treatment overview

  • Radical prostatectomy (nerve sparing when oncologically safe)
  • Partial/radical nephrectomy for kidney tumors
  • TURBT with intravesical BCG/chemotherapy for non muscle invasive bladder cancer; cystectomy for muscle invasive disease
  • Radical orchidectomy for testicular cancer with fertility counselling
  • Organ preserving penile surgery / partial penectomy with lymph node management

Recovery

Most laparoscopic/robotic procedures involve 2–3 day stays; return to desk work in 1–3 weeks depending on surgery. Structured surveillance schedules are shared for long term safety.
